The churches minister to four communities, and each one is unique. For 26 years, God has used Quissico in ministries that have transformed the life of the church and society in general around the world. The Hamden Plains United Methodist Church (UMC) is a diverse community that is united in Christ, a welcoming place to worship, serve, and grow in faith. Hobart and Township usually have a full-time pastor in their pulpit, but part-time and full-time pastors lead worship at each sanctuary and visit the parishioners of each church.

Hamden Plains UMC is the church of ordinary people with extraordinary faith. Jacob Price, the pastor of the United Methodist Church of Washington Heights, came together to make his request a reality. We especially welcome those who think the world is flat, work too much, don't work, can't spell, or are only here because grandma is in town and wanted to go to church. The church is very dynamic and effective in many areas, such as lively combined worship services, Eucharistic ministry, jazz vespers of communion, biblical storytelling which has added new members, theater ministry, and recovery ministry which includes Recovery on the South Side.

The church strives to actively serve its neighbors inside and outside the local area with charities and events for children and adults. As a third-generation United Methodist pastor, “Pastor Brian” as he wishes to be called remains active as vice president of the Conference's Board of Trustees as a mentor to clergy and as a leader of pastoral transitions. For more than two decades God has used Pastor Daniel in multiple positions of transformative ministry in the life of the church and society in general. St.
