The "Thrifty Church Mouse" Thrift Shop Our new Thrift Shop is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We are very excited about this new continuous fundraiser that will both benefit the church and UMW. No contribution of time or materials is too small. As space is limited, we will only be accepting fall and winter clothing right now. We will change our inventory to spring and summer clothing as we approach the spring months, so please save that clothing for us as you switch your closets this fall. Thank you in advance for your support of this exciting new venture. Don't forget to come in and browse our inventory - who knows what treasures you may find? Be sure to invite your friends!
| The Church's Silent Auction at the Sayville Fire Department on Lincoln Avenue in Sayville on Saturday, November 22 from 3-6pm. Many great prizes include Disney World passes, American Girl and Marie Osmond dolls, theatre, sports and comedy club tickets, dinner and local store certificates, fabulous themed baskets and much more!!
We need volunteers to transport the baskets, help set up, work the auction and help with clean up. We are also looking for a variety of food donations for our concession stand. If you can help in one or more of these areas please contact Tracy. It takes many people to make this event a success. Please consider donating an hour or two of your time.
| Please take a moment to consider supporting UMCOR, The United Methodist Committee on Relief. This organization is there whenever needed, throughout our country and the world in times of disaster. UMCOR was there to help following the 2005 Tsunami; UMCOR was there when Hurricane Katrina wiped out New Orleans and parts of Mississippi.
We don't know where or when the next disaster will strike, but be sure, UMCOR will be there!
