About Us

The Sayville United Methodist Church is an active, community-minded church with a healthy and diverse membership. Our members come from many different backgrounds and denominations. Our pastor is the Reverend Richard Allen, who has also served churches in Stone Mountain, GA and in Yonkers, Westhampton Beach and LaGrangeville, NY.

Sayville was once chosen as "The Friendliest Town In America" and remains both a residential community and a haven for visitors. Our church building has been part of Sayville's Main Street since the 1890's. Sayville's active main street serves not only the local residents but also the ferry-accessible beach communities across the bay. The town is widely known for its boating and other water related activities.

Ministry in this community is an exciting and ever-changing adventure. Four Bible studies, a youth group and a seniors' group meet weekly. Our church banner proclaims, "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors." You have an open invitation to join us this and every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.!
